Sunset - Integration of a Temperature Sensor on PIC18,
Student Project, 2022

This project was proposed to us as part of the embedded systems course. With a TCN75A temperature sensor on an MR003-001.2 board, we had to implement it on an EasyPIC6 development board equipped with a PIC18F45K22 controller. We were free to develop the device of our choice. With 8 classmates, we had to understand the hardware and software constraints inherent in the available equipment before proposing and implementing a functional project in 3 sessions of 3 hours each.
We developed a tool to monitor the ambient temperature with a real-time plotted curve and a display of the temperature in a configurable unit (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin).
Due to our number and the short deadline, task distribution was a crucial factor for the success of this project. For my part, I mainly worked on the implementation of the TCN75A driver with my teammate Oscar Buon.
